Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I'VE JUST read in Bird's-eye View an article about Cretian coach drivers being retired at 45, and that drivers aged 55-64 are the safest of all (CM, June 19).

I would like to point out that I passed my psy test at the tender age of 22 (a mere greenhorn), I am now 26 and in my four years of driving psys, (without being big headed, I have been congratulated on handling "such a big thing" by "old dears" and also by retired coach drivers.

And, furthermore, I have been told by many people that they have felt safer with me than some men drivers who have had years cf experience, especially on some of the roads around here which are just the width of a coach and car and very similar to those described in the article (unfenced and windy) especially along the mountains around Snowdonia.

My father and I have started up a business and I am now teaching him to drive a coach. He is 56. I suppose I'm not safe but he is!

So can you tell your statisticians that it's a case of my beauty against their "old timers," MISS OLWEN JONES Kestrel Coaches, Llandudno, Gwynedd.
