A. F. J. Elmslie, opened Offiey Bros. Ltd. new £25,000 commercial vehicle repair shop at Whitby, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, last Friday.
The 13,650-sq.-ft. shop includes a 900-sq.-ft. store and three 30-ft. pits. In each of these three inspection pits there is a work-bench at pit level.
Already Off:ley Bros. have contracts for the routine servicing of more than 80 vehicles. The workshop previously used to handle heavy vehicles, just a third of the size of the new one, will now be used exclusively by O.B. Transport Ltd., the Wiley Brothers' haulage concern, to service their 42 vehicles.
