THE business at Deeping St. James I (Lines) of Allen's Transport Ltd. has been acquired for £40,000 by the Ross Group, Grimsby. It will retain the present name and continue to be supervised by the present directors, Mr. H. S. Allen and Mr. R. J. R. Bates, the latter being managing director. The Ross Group is considering plans for extending the fleet of vehicles at Deeping St James and erecting more warehouses.
