Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A Luxurious Eleven-seater for a San Francisco Merchant.

WHAT HAS been described to us as a "special land yacht" built for the private use of a San Francisco stockbroker, to be used in the sa.me way as some wealthy people use private railway cars, seems to us to be more of a busi

ness proposition,, unless it is that we are not able to understand the frame of mind of a man who, in his private life, is willing to advertise his 'business on his private car.

Mr. C. W. Gordon, president of the C. W. Gordon Co., stockbrokers, of San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles, has had built for himself and hi a family an 11-seater Fageol coach, quite luxuriously appointed, and, as will be seen

from our photograph, he advertises his business on the off-side front door and is careful to give emphasis to his opinion that there is a measure of safety in connection with it, because he has the words "Safety Coach" written large on the radiator. Quite what "Safety Coach" means is not by any means clear, because the vehicle can attain a speed of nearly 59 m.p.h., at which point the governor with which the engine is equipped begins to take effect, and we take it that means is provided for castting out the governer when so desired. A low load line has been attained, and special attention has been paid to springing.
