Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE USE of television advertising for capital plant, such as lorries, as well as for consumer goods, is defended by John Cooper, Leyland Vehicles advertising controller. He claims that three campaigns conducted since last March "completely overturned people's view that we didn't have a future and actually managed to knock Volvo off top spot with regard to overall image".

One of the campaigns was for the Clydesdale, which Albion established as one of the most popular lorries ever built. One wonders what happened to call for such costly advertising to restore its reputation.
