Scotland: A92: Heavy plant is crossing this Kirkcaldy/Inverkeith road west of Aberdour. Drivers are warned that the road surfam slippery.
A909. Reconstruction work is underway on the Burntisland/KE road at Gray Park, between the Cowdenbeath and Beverkae iuncti Single line traffic is controlled by signals.
Northern England. The Four Bridges road link between Walla: and Birkenhead in Wirral is expected to be back in operation dur the early part of this month. Since the bridge has been out of there has been congestion at the two other road links across Birk head docks, Duke Street bridge and Penny Bridge.
Midlands. A40: Ross-on-Wye High Street is closed and delays possible. Signed local diversions are in use.
A10: The Cambridge to Royston Road at Harston has traffic nals in use due to roadworks.
Ml: Due to mining subsidence, a temporary ban on he. vehicles using the M1 will come into effect on January 11. Vehic over 32 tons or more than 9ft Sin wide will be banned from using road between junctions 29 and 30.
Wales and the West: A31/35. Work starts shortly on the Bare RE by-pass between the top of Sitterton Hill and Town's End. It is dui be completed by June 1982.
M4: The London-bound carriageway restaurant is closed u May, but drivers can still gain access to the westbound facilitie they use the footbridge.
M4: Lane closures at various points between junctions (Newport) and 25 (Caerleon) in both directions.
M4: Repairs to the Wye Bridge section of the Severn Bridge start shortly. Repairs to expansion joints are necessary resultinl the removal of part of the road surface which will require I: closures. These will last for about three weeks in each directior 30mph speed limit will be imposed.
MS: At junction 25 (Taunton) there are lane closures north E southbound for barrier repairs.
South-east England: Al. There are occasional lane closures tween now and March due to rebuilding of the Rowley Lane fly° on the Barnet by-pass. Most are at weekends.
A2: Two way traffic is using the northbound carriageway n Canterbury due to roadworks on the southbound side of the Harl down by-pass.
Ml: Both offside lanes are closed for one mile for bridge reps half a mile south of junction 16 (Northampton).
Ireland: Dublin; Major roadworks at Bachelor's Walk will resul diversions until May. There is at least one lane in use at all time Bachelor's Walk and Ormond Quay, and the traffic flow in LH Street Lower has been reversed.
