Ju.sT delivered to Mr, W. Latham for Ramsden's of Preston are two identical tippers with bodies designed to be readily convertible for the carriage of grain, coal, coke, lime, sugar beet and occasionally packed materials.

The all-steel bodies, built by Autolifts and Engineering Co. Ltd., have sides which fold down and are secured to the lower section so that, for example, after running at 23-cu.-yd, capacity with coke the vehicles have a capacity of 11 co. yd. for return loads of denser material such as lime.

They can also be stripped down to form platform bodies. Separate interchangeable centre and rear pillars and taildoor are supplied with each vehicle. The rear grain aperture is winch-operated and the tipping gear is Autolifts M14F twin-ram. The Bedford TK chassis has Primrose third-axle conversions and the units were supplied through Bakon Motors of Preston.
