Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ENTERTAINMENT LOGISTICS firm EST has applied for more time to save its business.

Woolwich, South Londonbased ES Group, EST’s parent company, filed a document at Companies House on 4 February detailing its intention to appoint Paul Holgate and Philip Long of PKF (UK) as joint administrators of the business.

The submission comes after its original intention to appoint an administrator document, put forward on 25 January, expired. Such declarations are only valid for 10 days.

ES Group, which has provided logistics for artists including Beyoncé, Madonna and Oasis for 37 years, is not in liquidation. However, the operator says it “is, or is likely to become, unable to pay its debts”.

Director Ollie Kite says the company has extended the intention notice to give it more time to talk to potential investors.
