Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

It's all very well for doctors to tell us that tired drivers are dangerous (CM 3-9 Feb) but now does that help us in the real world? If I told my boss I was too tired to do my job I know exactly what he'd say.

Sure, in an ideal world we'd all get plenty of rest and my boss would be able to charge enough to our customers to give me a hefty rise (fat chance). But if any operators start checking drivers for sleep apnoea and then let them keep driving, how will that look in court if a sleepy driver causes a crash? It's a non-starter.
