FOR the first time, a major wage agreement between management and unions in Northern Ireland has been signed before the television cameras
It happened on the Northern Ireland BBC news programme last week when the new deal on pay and conditions for 2,000 Ulsterbusmen was signed—for the unions by Mr. Hugh Minnis, of the Municipal Workers, and Mr. Max Reid, of the Transport Workers, and for Ulsterbus by Mr. W. W. Huebeck, managing director.
The agreement has been described as a model for the industry.
