IN A FOLLOW-UP to its stati ment at the Frankfurt Mote Show in September (CM Sei tember 24), Daf Trucks has i sued more details about its Si: year £133m investment pri gramme.

While still remaining noi committal about its propose innovation programme, Daf hi said it will be spending ovi 'E88m on the renewal of its pri duct range, which will be cor pleted towards the end of tt 1980s, and a further £44m will t spent on new production tec niques.

The proposed spending plal will come partly from Daf's ov investment funds and pad from the Dutch Government, tl Dutch National Investment Bai and the Belgian Government.

Daf is putting up £55m, while £31m grant comes from tl Dutch Government as Daf plans are in keeping with its i dustrial policy, film from tl Dutch bank, and about £36 from the Belgian Governme because of Daf's importance the Belgian economy.
