THE CHILLNET partnership, which delivers pallets of frozen and chilled food throughout the UK and Ireland, has opened its 12th depot.
The site at South Kirby, near Doncaster, will cover Yorkshire and Humberside. This region was previously served from depots in Liverpool, Peterborough and Newcastle.
The depot was opened by Newcastle-based David Price Food Services which joined Chillnet in 2002.
Other members of the partnership, which was set up in 1991, include Langdons, DHL/Exel, Sawyers Transport and STL Logistics.
