NEWLY FORMED Essex-based heavy haulier First London Logistics has taken delivery of its first truck a Volvo FH16 6x4 tractor unit plated at 150 tonnes.
The company handles transport for the First London Group. This incorporates First London Environmental, whose businesses include property development and green waste recycling.
Steve Cawthorn. First London Logistics director, says the top-spec truck was bought with driver retention in mind: "Our long-term strategy is to provide third-party contract haulage and to take care of our in-house requirements by having a modern and diverse fleet."
