Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• An Internet information service for hauliers and drivers will be available from September.

Eurotruck will include route information, new and used trucks for sale, hauliers' display advertisements and other help such as where to find the best food on routes. .

Company director and haulier Ian Rycroft says: "Anyone with a telephone, PC and modem will be able to access the information stored on Eurotruck." The information will be free; users will pay the cost of a local phone call for access. The firm hopes to make money from advertisers.

Rycroft adds: "The idea for Eurotruck comes from my expe

rience as an international haulier and the frustration of trying to assimilate information from so many disparate sources.

"Eurotruck will allow someone in Holland to advertise their truck, with a picture, and perhaps eventually sell to a buyer somewhere in the Far East."

The service will be accessible in German, French, Spanish and later Russian as well as in English.

Its US equivalent, Truckers/ Transportation, has grown fast this year. Enquiries between April and June have almost trebled.

Eurotruck will be setting up a freephone number so that anybody interested can get details on how to use the service.
