COMPREHENSIVELY equipped for repairs to tyres and wheels, a special light-alloy van built by Wilsdon and Co., Ltd., Solihull, and mounted on a Cornmer forward-control oil-engined 7-ton chassis, is employed by the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., for servicing work at car and motorcycle race meetings.

The main compartment has four fitting benches for servicing wheels, and a smaller compartment at the front

Other equipment includes an electric drill, vice and three trolley jacks.

The front compartment has a side entrance for which draw-out steps are supplied, and the entrance to the main compartment is at the rear by means of a walk-up ramp. Side canopies hinge upwards to form shelters. The roof is insulated and has natural Perspex lights and Weathershields ventilators.
