Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A Halifax haulier is appealing for help after one its trucks and its driver along with an £80,000 load of shoes disappeared while returning from Spain.

Stephanie Spruce, joint owner of Spruce International, wants to hear from anyone who can shed some light on the disappearance of Ian Qui'ham and the Scania R113 he was driving.

Having already part loaded in Alicante, he finished loading in Murcia and set off for the UK on 15 March. Spruce received a couple of calls from Quilliamwho is an experienced driver— en route, but that was the last they heard of him.

According to Spruce, it was Quilliam's first run for the company and they have no idea what has happened to him. "Some of the roads through the mountains are quite treacherous and if he's gone over the side or been hijacked it could be weeks before the vehicle is found."

The 6x2 tractor unit (reg F838 CWY) is painted green, white and yellow and has a damaged passenger door that is strapped shut. It was hauling a red 13.6m tilt trailer (number BJ100). The police and Interpol have so far had no luck in tracing him.

If anyone has any information on either the truck, the load or Ian Quilliam, who lives in Liverpool, they should contact Stephanie Spruce on 01422 355686.
