Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FINAL chapter in the collapse of the Dublin haulage company Ferrywagon was completed when the company's assets were auctioned on the instructions of the official liquidator recently. Among the items for sale were seven Mercedes-Benz and Nino tractive units, 23 refrigerated box trailers, 31 box trailers, 59 flat trailers, 27 skeletal units and 20 box containers. About 200 prospective buyers turned up and prices were considered to be average.

Two Mercedes 1619 tractive units were sold for 1R£5,700 (£4,488) and 1R£5,600, two 1978 Hino HE335 tractive units for 1R£1,650 and 1R£1,300, a 1976 Hino 24007 tractive unit for IRE1,000 and a 1973 Mercedes tractive unit for 1R£800.

The decision to liquidate Ferrywagon was taken after a deterioration in its affairs following the death of its founder Mervyn Hayes last August.
