Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LEYLAND VEHICLES has denied rumours about the future of the International DT-466, which is scheduled to replace some of the Leyland 400 series engines.

At a meeting last week, Leyland gave the go ahead to the future fitting of the IH engine (currently fitted to the Seddon Atkinson 300).

The meeting had been called to clear up any doubts on the availability of the DT 466 following the International decision to postpone indefinitely the building of an engine assembly plant in Spain.

This was to have a production capacity of 80,000 units per year and was intended to supply ENASA on the domestic market and to export to the UK and Latin America.

The DT-466 is currently built in the USA where IH claims that there is sufficient capacity to maintain the supply.
