AT THE second reading of the Lorry Traffic Regulations Bill, Michael English (Conservative, Nottingham West) opposed the new measures to bring the Dykes Act into line with the metric system (CM March 6).
The vote on the Bill has therefore been delayed until April 23, when it will be heard again.
