FOUR COMPANIES share latest £2.9m of Section 8 raill grants towards the capital of keeping freight traffic off roads.
The largest grant, of £1.6 goes to National Smoke Fuels for the modernisatior coal reception facilities at Avenue Coking Works, n Chesterfield.
Storey Brothers get £78, for new sidings and a hot discharge system at Mann tree, in Essex. Another £660, goes to Blue Circle Cement its bottom discharge facilitie Hope Cement Works, in Del and Rugby Portland Cerr gets £550,000 for a bob discharge system at the Barr ton Cement Works, in Camb geshire.
