A spokesman for the Ministry of Transport, confirming this move, told CM on Monday that slightly different regulations will apply in the Metropolitan traffic area, where psv licences are issued by the Commissioner of Police. Under police regulations, a driver will have to pass a medical within one month of his 50th, 56th, 62nd, and 65th birthdays, and then annually.
