Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Appeals against the granting of licences to other psv operators were dismissed by the Minister of Transport in written replies this week. The first was an appeal by the Eastern Counties Omnibus Co Ltd, against a grant to Lowestoft Corporation for stage services between Pakefield and Gunton St. Peter's Estate heard on July 14 1969.

The other two appeals, heard on February 27 1969, were by AlderShot and District Traction Co Ltd, and Warren's Transport Ltd, against the granting to Farnham Coaches (Petrich) Ltd, of a licence for an express between Alton (the Butts) and Farnham (Memorial Hall).

A service was designed to meet the requirements of Angel Entertainments Ltd, who wanted to arrange transport at no extra charge for people travelling to and from their bingo sessions at Farnham. sides have alloy exterior panels, while the front and rear body sections are one-piece glass-reinforced plastics, designed so that the front and rear screens are interchangeable. The interior lining panels are of mild steel sheet faced with coloured plastics.

Interior and exterior layout can be varied to customer requirement and—if necessary —supplied to full psv requirements. Seating choice ranges from timber slatted seats for works buses to fully upholstered seats with headrolls for semi-luxury vehicles. A luggage boot, luggage racks and other extras can be fitted to the latter type of vehicle if required.
