Road transport law

• Kitchin's long-established Road Transport Law has appeared for its 15th edition in a completely new guise. An attractive outer cover indicates the changes that have been made to this excellent book, which was first published as long ago as 1941.

Mr E. K. Wenlock has re-written the book to include the many changes in legislation which have taken place since the previous edition was published in 1964. The text has been extended from 139 to 214 pages and includes a new chapter on plating and testing.

The layout of the book remains unchanged, with a reference list.of all the relevant Acts and Regulations heading each chapter so the reader can easily refer to the source of the information contained in the chapter if he wishes.

The prime object of the book is to present the law relating to road transport in simple English and this it achieves.

Unfortunately, the price has been increased, but at 42s it remains a worthwhile and handy reference to help anyone in haulage trying to keep on the right side of the law. D.G.L.
