In conjunction with Coach work Conversions Ltd. of Berkhathsted, Renault Ltd. hare introduced this ice cream vendor on the Estafette 15 cwt. front-wheel-drive cab/platform unit at a price of £865. Alloy-framed, the body has alloy exterior panelling and a clear plastics or alloy roof, Laconite being used for interior lining. Two side counters hare cupboards below, while a washbasin, tank and till drawer are built in. Exterior set-ring height is 3 ft. 6 in., interior counter height 2 ft, 2 in. and working height 6 ft. 6 in. Overall-length is 13 ft. 5 tn. and turning circle 30 ft. A version complete with soft ice cream maker and fridge cabinets may be offered later at around £1,800.
