HE Crowther group of companies has been acquired by British Road Services Ltd., with :ct from last Friday. Operating 46 vehicles ween them, from premises on the WakefieldTisiey Road and carrying mainly general line traffic, the companies affected are Crowther and Son (Wakefield) Ltd., F. )wther and Son (Sandal) Ltd., Arthur Cooper, ulage (Wakefield) Ltd., Pashley's (Newlerdarn) Ltd.
he Crowther group will continue to operate er its own name with Mr. R. G. Crowther as irman. Mr. T. C. Calthorpe has been apated managing director and Mr. S. B. Jackson, viously secretary of the company, has been m a seat on the board.
