• The Northern LA Mr J. A. T. Hanlon, has rejected an application by Mr A. Beck, of South Hctton, Co Durham, to operate an 11-seater minibus to carry workers from South Hetton to and from work on Dragonville trading estate, Durham City. United Automobile Services Ltd objected on the grounds that it already provided a service for people on the estate, and Mr Hanlon said the application could not be granted without substantial evidence that the service was needed.
