in Works Bus Decision
to M.P.T.A.
A DECISION by the Western Traffic
Commisioners, which prevented Swindon Borough Council from operating a works bus service between Swindon and a factory at Blunsdon, has been referred to the executive committee of the Municipal Passenger Transport Association.
The Commissioners granted the works licence to the Bristol Omnibus Co., Ltd., and the council state that they have approached the M.P.T.A. so that their view of the case can be used as a guide to other municipal undertakings who are involved in similar applications.
