Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CONGRATULATIONS on your reporting of the Fleet Management Conference, and particularly your coverage of the public inquiry. Just to put the record straight, when I worked in those courts in the Northern and Yorkshire Traffic Areas, it was as the official court shorthand writer and not, as stated in your report, as the court clerk, the important difference being that the shorthand writers in these courts are always neutral practitioners, whereas court clerks are always civil servants.

I should add that I thoroughly enjoyed returning to the days of my "youth'', and meeting so many old friends during the FMC.
