Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

It/TAKERS of truck air conditioners in 11'1 Detroit, U.S.A., are expecting a substantial sales increase, thanks to aid from the Teamsters Union. Teamster branches have gained regional contract provisions, effective this year, for air conditioning of the cabs of new long-haul " sleeper " trucks. A Chicago official said the Teamsters would probably push for air conditioning in "all over-the-road trucks in the next contract round" in 1964.

Air-conditioned trucks in the U.S.A. currently number only several thousand out of 12 million trucks on the road. Many makers of air conditioners see the beginning of a new trend. With air conditioning in the new sleepers, they predict drivers of older sleepers and of ordinary long distance trucks will demand the same relief from the high temperatures often experienced.
