• According to the Transport Tribunal's annual report for 1968, during that year 45 new appeals were lodged; eight were not proceeded With and were formally dismissed under Transport Tribunal Rule 44(1). Out of those appeals heard, 22 were allowed wholly or in part.
The Transport Act, the report states, did not affect the jurisdiction of the Tribunal during 1968.
