NHEEL LOSS has been a )roblem in the transport industry or as long as I can remember :CM 12 May). I don't think that here is one easy answer to this wheel -loss problem save to say hat! have been in the industry for 50 years and it seems to me that if t wheel is going to come loose it is tormally the nearside drive axle, )r on the nearside somewhere.
When I first started driving all hose years ago, all wheel nuts on nost trucks on the nearside were eft-hand thread,so as the wheel ;pun it was kept tight.
In any case, it's a 10 minute job )n a Monday morning to check wheel nuts with an old fashioned vheelbrace and have piece of nind all week.
