RETURNING from a business trip to the Middle East, Mr. C. E. Harrington, managing director of Thomas Harrington, Ltd., Hove, announced that he had conducted negotiations with the Ford Motor Co., of Egypt, concerning the design and construction of light-alloy bus bodies for Ford chassis.
A standard body will be designed for the American Ford passenger chassis and work on a prototype will shortly begin. Presumably, assembly of Harrington bodies for these chassis will be carried out in the Ford works in Alexandria.
