Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Jam writing with reference to your article headed "Try for a conversion" (CM 25 June-1 July). I found it most informative, but would like to correct you on one point.

All Phoenix axles are preassembled and designed for individual vehicles (see picture). All Phoenix equipment is jig built and track tested. We work closely with vehicle manufacturers and approved, dedicated converters.

All the axles are available with the vehicle manufacturers' axle ends (hub, drum and brake assembly). Note that we have been supplying disc-braked axles for the past four years.

Due to the patented design of the axle tube, there is no danger of it fouling either the propshaft or the chassis. Therefore, if and when 44tonne general haulage comes to the UK, Phoenix will be able to supply kits that can be quickly and easily fitted by either the vehicle dealer or the approved converter.

As a bonus, when the axle is raised the driver knows that the vehicle height has not changed.
