• Angry hauliers plan to organise a convoy of trucks from Scotland to London next month to protest about low rates.
Mike Pickering of owneroperators' association Unit 91 hopes to persuade 100 drivers to join the event. He stresses that the intention is not to cause hold-ups: "The police will be informed and we won't be going slow," he says. "It will be held in a way that people can see that we are being responsible.
