Like all rear-engined coaches the RTD has plenty of luggage space between the axles. Access to the engine is also good with side as well as rear apertures. Wheel valances open to give access to suspension parts. Inside, conventional racks have long since replaced the separate airliner boxes fitted to the first examples.
