Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE three Yorkshire divisions of I the Traders Road Transport Association—Hull and East Riding, South Yorkshire and West Riding— are to be amalgamated into one unified Yorkshire division with the object of providing a more streamlined and efficient organization and service.

The change will not affect the handling of local affairs within the three existing divisions, which will assume area status and continue to be responsible for highway, traffic and other local rnafters. Each area will be represented on the divisional committee and the national council.

Mr. W. Mills, present secretary of the TRTA Northern division, has been appointed secretary of the new Yorkshire division, which will have its office in Leeds when it becomes operational in the autumn.
