THREE fire engines, worth more than £500,000, left the Port at Felixstowe recently in the middle of a snow storm bound for Nigeria.

Manufactured by West Midlands firm of Simon Engineering Dudley Ltd, the three Snorkel engines were loaded on the Saudi Express bound for Lagos. One appliance will be based in Lagos, the other two in Apapa. The general Agents were Rota Line Ltd.
