Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NEW BOOKS on buses and coaches are becoming an almost weekly occurrence these days, and the subject matter is becoming increasingly specialised as authors produce the results of years of devoted study to their particular interests, The Bus Book (Ian Allan, £4.95) is different. In it, Gavin Booth and Stewart Brown provide basic details on the structure of the bus industry today, the buses on our roads, where to see them, what transport museums offer best value for money, and more.

Somewhat tongue in cheek, the authors subtitle their book as Everything You Wanted to Know About Buses, But Were Afraid To Ask, and this less than-ultra-serious vein runs throughout the book. An enthusiasts' alphabet contains such entries as "X for Xenophobia", suggesting that bus enthusiasts are not always the most objective analysts of the world they frequent.

The book is a useful source of basic information on buses, and promises to help many develop a better understanding of the subject.
