TWO new posts with United Transport Distribution have been filled by Paul Hawkings and Gordon Morris.

Mr Hawkings, who was distribution and warehouse manager at Rowley Regis for Storage and Haulage, joins the group as regional distribution manager. He is based at Wolverhampton and is responsible for transport distribution throughout the Midlands and for warehousing.

Mr Morris, who is also based at Wolverhampton, is appointed new projects manager.

He is responsible for the compilation and analysis of data on new contracts for each depot. He joins UTD with more than 24 years in distribution.

His previous job was as distribution and warehouse manager for the Autobar Group at Telford, • United Transport International has made Kenneth Farron a director. He is already a director of the UK and Europe holding company, United Transport Company, and is responsible for the group's road tanker operations in the USA and Europe.
