Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WITH a capacity of 12 tons, a lightVV alloy tipping body built by Motor Distributors, Ltd., StanningIey Road, Leeds, 12, weighs only 17i cwt. without the tipping gear. Mounted on a Sentinel six-wheelEd chassis, the body 20 ft. long, 7 ft. 2 ins, wide and the side boards are 3 ft. 3 ins. high. Millshaw type-MTKH twin-ram tipping gear. with positive delivery pump and stabilizer, is fitted.

Heavy-section light-alloy channelling forms the basis of the body, to which is riveted a deck of extruded serrated planking. External panelling is cornposed of 12-gauge special heat-treated alloy riveted to the deck. A smooth finish of exceptional strength is thus created. Chock rails are built from 4-in. angles and Z sections riveted to the floor and cross-bearers.

Sockets through the chock ' rails accept the centre pillars and the double-side boards fit into flanged platform sides. Particular attention has been paid to the specification of the alloy used in constructing the body, in view of the acid content of the load to be carried. The operator is Nitrogen Fertilisers, Ltd., Flixborough, Scunthorpe.
