• Awards totalling nearly £5.000 have been awarded from the James Clayton Trust to mechanical engineers working on projects or studies, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers has announced.
Among the awards is one to Mr. D. Horrocks to assist him to continue an investigation into forming thin walled aluminium alloy containers directly from molten metal by means of a bubble process.
Mr. A. M. Porter has received an award to assist him to complete an investigation of design factors and performance of cross-flow fans.
