MR. BRIAN HARBOUR will retire from the London Transport Board when his term of office , expires in November. The Minister of Transport proposes to appoint Mr. Harbour as a part-time director of the Transport Holding Company when he retires. Mr. Harbour has been with London Transport since 1913, when he joined the Underground group of companies.
The Minister also proposes to appoint Mr. E. C. Ottaway, at present chief supplies and services officer, London Transport. as a full-time member of the London Transport Board when Mr. Harbour retires. Mr. Ottaway joined the London General Omnibus Company in 1929 and took up his present post in 1951.
