Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

bodies built on A.E.C. Mark IV overseas chassis are due to leave this country for Yugoslavia, where they will be operated on airport feeder services by Jugoslovenski AeroTransport. They are believed to be the first British passenger bodies to be built specifically for Yugoslavia since that country lifted the Iron Curtain.

Three of the bodies, which were built by Strachans Successors, Ltd., Wales Farm Road, North Acton, London, W.3, have 49 seats, and the other is a 39-seater. It is understood that the smaller coach will serve a little-used airport.

The luxury fittings, combined with a design which is basically utilitarian, result in an exceptionally pleasing appearance, an impression that is even more evident in the 39-seater.

Construction is of light alloy throughout. Exterior panels are of 18 g. half-hard alumipium, and specially fixed chromium-plated mouldings enhance the general appearance.

Off-white Florette is used to line the underside of the roof and rear dome. This matches well with the grey, blue and fawn colour scheme of the luxury seats, which are upholstered in Vynide. Cushions have Dunlopillo fillings. There is a fishnet glove and paper pouch fixed on the back of each seat.

There is an entrance forward of the front axle and an exit just behind the rear wheels. Each has a hinged door, and the foam-rubber buffers which are standard on Strachans coachwork will he useful in excluding dust arising from Yugoslavia's generally poor roads.

Aluminium non-slip treads are fixed on the entrance and exit steps. A covering of linoleum is provided for the floor, rubber being used for the gangway.

In addition to four extractors in the roof, adequate ventilation can be provided by drop windows; 12 side windows, as well as those fitted in the doors, have a 5-in, drop. , Passengers' vision is aided by narrow window sticks, and six roof quarter panels in blue Perspex along each side are said to give a pleasant effect in the sun. Two large Perspex panels are also fixed in the front roof quarter. Artificial lighting for the saloon is provided by 15 moonstone lamps.

Four heaters are fitted below the seats. There is also a demister.

Total accommodation for luggage is approximately 100 cu. ft. in addition to a large locker at the rear, access to which is gained by two hinged doors; a smaller locker is provided in front of the rear axle on each side.

Radio, with fosur loudspeakers let into the centre of the roof, is included in the appointments.

There is an electric buzzer, with four pushes conveniently situated throughout the saloon. Continental lighting is provided.
