• Roads and Traffic Minister Christopher Chope has officially opened BRS's new £7m depot at Swindon which replaces an existing site just down the road.
BRS had on show one of its new aerodynamic, Bescobodied Cargo 0813s; the company is investing Elm on 140 of these trucks which feature the new BRS logo, unveiled last week. About 180 vehicles will operate from the Swindon site, which will employ 170.
