Mercury International Freight, with branches at Bristol. Plymouth and Cardiff, is working with Wilson and Co, a Scandinavian trucking organisation and part of Bilspedition, the largest transport group in the region.
Export and import cargo is already being trucked to and from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark by Mercury on Wilson's fleet of road trailers.
Mercury will consolidate all cargo for groupage at their own local branches and its fleet will collect and deliver small and medium-sized loads which would normally be uneconomical to transport as single items.
