Iveco has sold a pair of Daily City mini-artics to Sonicbore to transport its sonic waterwell drilling rigs. Based on the 40C15, the tractors pull 20ft swanneck semi-trailers. In order for pre-1997 car licence holders to drive the outfits, they are restricted to 0,700kg GCW, at which rating they have a trailer and payload capacity of around 6,700kg, more than enough for Sonicbore's three-tonne rigs and the one tonne of associated kit needed.
