Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

capable of carryfl ina three farm balers, instead of two as has been normal practice, has been developed by Rippon Bros. for Jones Balers, Ltd., Mold, and built by Fox Trailers, Ltd., Woodend Avenue, Liverpool, 24.

Jones Balers distribute their machines from their factory to customers all over the country, and to docks for export, and required a type of vehicle which "would substantially increase the capacity of the fleet and reduce delivery costs. A standard semi-trailer can carry two balers on its platform, but the Rippon design has a superstructure over the f,orecarriage on which a third machine can be placed. At the rear is a pair of ramps up which the first machine is drawn, and it is then winched up a second pair on to the superstructure. The baler is then levelled by means of a hydraulic ram. The next baler to be loaded, at the front of the main platform, is overhung by the first, whilst the third overhangs the rear slightly. ,Loading and unloading arc estimated to take half an hour.

The semi-trailer is 26 .ft. 6 in. long, whilst the complete outfit is 34 ft. 11 in. long. The semi-trailer slopes to the rear, and the use of 29 x 8 tyres affords a rear loadiwng height of 2 ft. 6 in. Unladen weight of the vehicle is 6 tons -3 cwt.
