• Driffield & District, a Humberside independent trading as Revill Coaches, has called in the receiver. The company operated 17 buses and coaches on a mixture of rural services from its depot at Langtoft. Major difficulties arose when its licence was cut, because the Traffic Commissioner was unhappy with the company's maintenance arrangements. El Suffolk operator Squirrels of Hitcham continues to trade despite going into receivership — hopes are high that a new buyer can be found.
