Although he took over his duties some time ago, it is not generally known that Mr. li. Morton Batchelor is now controlling municipal sales for the Associated Equipment Co., Ltd. Mr. Batchelarlis particularly well known in the.North, for he was, until December, 1929, sales and service manager at the company's former Manchester depot. For a short time after that he represented the company in the home counties.
Mr. F. W. Clarke, who has represented A.E.C. interests hi the Kent area since January, 1930, has, in addition, now taken over the districts in southeast Surrey which are within 12 miles of Charing Cross. He succeeds Mr. C. R. Pengelly, who recently joined the staff of Armstrong-Saurer Commercial Vehicles, Ltd.
Mr. F. H. Slade has joined the Trowbridge Tyre and Rubber Co. (1929), Ltd., in the capacity of district manager for the North of England. In the past Mr. Slade has represented the Pirelli and British Goodrich concerns in Yorkshire and. the Eastern Counties. Later he was special representative in Australia for the Goodyear Co., and, upon his return to England, joined the Macinlop Company as its technical supervisor controlling Scandinavia. Pending the opening of the company's new depot in Leeds, Mr. Slade will have a temporary address at 24, New Walk, Beverley.
