The report of the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co,, Ltd., for the year ended December 31st, 1931, shows that revenue amounted to 11,175,544, and working and general expenses and renewals to 11,028,867, leaving, with the balance brought forward from the previous account, a net revenue of £151,722. Of this sum, interest has absorbed £36,842, a dividend for the year on the 4 per cent, preference shares 420,000, and interim dividend of 3 per cent. on the ordinary shares £30,000. It is now proposed to pay a final dividend of 5 per cent, on the ordinary shares, which will account for £50.000, and by adding £10,000 to the reserve fund for contingencies and renewals, after which 14,880 remains to be carried forward.
